Haruka Nanase x Reader- Wintery Day

The snow had just started to fall for the first time this winter. You loved this time; the snow falling gently on the trees and roofs made you smile.



It was quite chilly, so you decided to make some hot chocolate to warm up.



You carefully prepared the hot beverage so as not to spill it and burn yourself.



Once you finished making it, you grabbed your mug and went over to the living room where you sat on your plush sofa and watched the snow fall.






A few minutes later, you thought you had heard the jingling of keys outside. Haru had finally come home.



The blackette had been on a trip to Australia for a competition and also to visit Rin who was living there. He had been gone for two months, so you missed him a lot.




"Welcome home." You would say when you saw him at the door. He would smile and kiss you and tell you how much he missed you.






You raced to the door and opened it in a flash.





You were shocked when you saw Makoto who looked like he was going to faint.




"Makoto? What's wrong?" You asked the poor brunette whose green eyes were shining with worry.



"H-Haru..!" You started to worry. Something horrible must have happened!



"H-he's... G-gone!" Makoto paused a bit to catch his breath. He must have ran all the way to your house...



"G-gone?" You squeaked. Is he..? No... He can't be..!






"(N-name)... T-the p-plane..."





Your whole world crashed right there and then. You didn't know what to say. The fact that Haru was gone was just... Impossible to believe.





Makoto went inside your warm, cozy house with you and you both sat on the sofa.



You started sobbing uncontrollably. You couldn't believe it. Your sweet, water-loving husband was gone. He had disappeared from the world you live in, and it was impossible for him to return.

It was a snowy day, much like the one when the snow first fell, that Haru's funeral took place. The snow created a magical atmosphere that made it look like a fairy tale.




How you wish it was a fairy tale. That way it wouldn't be real.




But it was.





You cried endlessly at the ceremony. You had just gotten married to the mackerel lover before he had gone away on his trip. You hadn't even gone on your honeymoon.





Makoto had comforted you the best he could so you felt a little better...




But deep down, your heart was ice cold.
