Singer!Makoto x Fan!Reader - Meet-and-Greet

Ever since your friend had given you a copy of the latest album by her favourite group, you’ve been hooked. You listened to their songs frequently, whether it be going to work or simply while relaxing at home. You bought every new album or single that had been released since, quickly becoming a huge fan and collector.

The singing group consisted of five members, whom you all liked, but one stood out over all of them: Tachibana Makoto. His voice was angelic when he sang, which made him popular with the fans. Not to mention he was blessed with good looks as well.

You had taken an interest in this particular man, and decided to research more about him one day. Apparently he also did some work with his other group, but the songs turned to be much more rock then his usual “Future Fish” kind of songs. Not that you minded, of course. His voice sounded amazing still, even though it was a bit raspy when he yelled at certain parts. You started listening to more of those songs as well, purchasing his albums along with your usual Style Five ones. You would buy posters, key chains; whatever you could get your hands on. You were probably one of his biggest fans, since your room was covered in Tachibana Makoto memorabilia.

Clutching the strap of your (backpack/purse), you walked out of the subway before proceeding to walk towards the stadium where the concert was to be held. Heart beating in your chest, you couldn’t believe that you were going to be in the same building as your idol. Not to mention going to meet him face-to-face later on. You had won a special ticket through a lottery event to the famous singer’s concert. It included a meet-and-greet, which you couldn’t have imagined you would ever get.

After walking through the massive crowds and getting through security, you finally arrived at your seat. It was very close to the front of the stage, but it was still far enough that you had a good view of the stage. Half an hour later, the lights dimmed and the show finally started.

“Everyone!” Makoto stepped out on the stage, which got loud cheering as a response. “Wow, I can’t believe so many people came here today!” He laughed, causing you to blush at how absolutely adorable he was. “Let’s get on with the show, shall we?” He asked, and everyone cheered again. The music started to play, and you drifted away into a world where only his voice existed.

“Oh my God that was amazing!” You heard a girl comment as you waited in the line to exit your row of seats. The concert had just ended after two encores and two hours of amazing music. You honestly couldn’t be happier, singing along to all of the songs as you had memorized the lyrics to each of them.

Finally getting out of the crowd of people, you walked towards the area where you would meet him for the meet-and-greet. There were a couple other people as well, who looked ecstatic over the chance of getting to meet him. You waited a bit, taking out the CD your friend had gotten you that had started all of this.

After some time, it was finally your turn, and you were face-to-face with the brunette. He had changed into comfier-looking clothing, but he still looked as handsome as ever. Blushing like a beet, you stepped up to the plate.

“H-hello Tachibana-san!” You squeaked, obviously nervous to talk to him. He turned around, only to give you a surprised look. “Y-you’re-!” At this point you looked terrified. How did he know you? Before you knew it, he smiled at you and shook your hand. “You’re (Friend’s Name)’s friend aren’t you? (L.Name) (Name)? It’s so nice to meet you!” Now it was your turn to be surprised. How did he know (Friend’s Name)? “Y-yes… How do you know her? H-how do you know me?!” He looked embarrassed, his cheeks tinted with pink. “Ahaha, she didn’t tell you? I’m her cousin! She told me that you were coming to my concert and to the meet-and-greet but I guess she didn’t say we’re related… haha…” He chuckled nervously, hoping not to make the situation more awkward. You, on the other hand, weren’t sure whether to feel betrayed or happy that she was related to him.

“A-anyway, did you want me to sign that?” He pointed towards the CD hanging in your hand. You nodded, “She gave me that a long time ago…” Examining it more closely, his eyes widened yet again. “Wow, this is the limited version! I gave it to her as a gift, but I never expected she would give it away! She really likes you, you know? Haha, she even gave me a picture of you to make sure I got the right person!”
‘He has a picture of me?? Oh my god…’ You mentally gasped. He took out his phone and showed you a picture of you and (Friend’s Name) doing a peace sign. “Haha, she said you had a pretty big crush on me too…” You blushed. You were never going to tell her anything ever again.

“W-well that’s not a lie, you do have an amazing voice a-and-” He cut you off by handing you back the signed copy. “Which brings me to another point, do you want to go out on a date sometime? (Friend’s Name) has told me so much about you and honestly, I would love to be able to talk to you, especially since it seems you know so much about me already!” You nodded profusely, your mind working on autopilot. This had to have been a dream come true!

You gave him your phone number and he promised to text you soon. You gathered your belongings and went on your way, your heart beating and butterflies fluttering in your stomach. Walking outside, you fished out your phone and opened up a new text message.
